Volunteer Program
The Volunteer Program at Limestone Island gives you the best opportunity for assisting the Society with its work while participating in field research. This program runs throughout the field season, which starts at the beginning of May and runs through to early July. Volunteers have a minimum of a week on the Island, which will include a variety of different studies varying with the timing of your stay. It is a chance to meet scientists and painlessly learn a lot of scientific lore and natural history.

You can volunteer as a member of our research team at the East Limestone Island field camp during the spring and early summer seasons. In order to coordinate with transportation to the camp, we ask that you commit yourself to a one-week minimum stay or longer. The camp is run on a Friday-to-Friday schedule. Please contact us for more information on volunteering at East Limestone Island.
We encourage you to read the Volunteer Guide before coming to Limestone
